What is Chromecast?

Chromecast is a series of digital media players, made by Google, which streams audio/video from computers, phones, and tablets to a television screen or audio system through Wi-Fi. “Chromecast works with iPhone®, iPad®, Android phone and tablet, Mac® and Windows® laptop, and Chromebook.”

When this simple media-streaming device is plugged into an HDMI port and configured, it will turn your ordinary television into an “app-driven smart TV”. After that, just use your mobile device to stream and control your favorite movies, music, shows, and more. You will no longer go through the hassle of using a VGA, DVI, HDMI, and Component Video port.

  1. The technological device advertised by Houssam is interesting and very useful. His posts offer good information needed to know about this device. I like how one can use his/her mobile device to control their favorite movies and shows on television using Chromecast. Also, the links provided by Houssam in the posts on how to setup the device and the apps supported, help in providing further information and assistance. The design of the blog is consistent and the comparison given to compare Chromecast with its competitors is a useful point in advertising for a device.
